What to do on Nusa Lembongan

The island Nusa Lembongan is located east of Bali and also known as the "Maldives of Bali". It has crystal clear water and is home to some stunning marine life and sights to the volcano Mt. Agung of the nearby island Bali. It is a fairly small island and the locals are very layed back. Two or three days should be enough to explore, relax and come down. The island is also a good spot for divers. Here are some insights of what the island has to offer.

This is what you will find on Nusa Lembongan and much more

On Nusa Lembongang you will see a lot of seaweed farms. Farmers harvest the grass and bring it to shore by boat to let it dry.

Check out the famous yellow suspension bridge connecting Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.

Go for a snorkel at Crystal Bay and soak up the small island vibe. There are also guided snorkel tours. Head to a Diving/Snorkel office.

Head to Devil´s Tears and wait for some big waves to hit shore.

Enjoy the view on the island and Bali´s Mount Agung from the top of the hill on Nusa Lembongan.

Stay in a private beachfront bungalow (Suka Beach Bungalows) and relax in the hammok underneath with a good book...

...or just watch the sun to set.

If you are keen for a movie head over to Jungut Batu Theatre and Restaurant. Go there for dinner and the movie afterwards is for free. Just check when the movie is about to begin.

To get the best deals I mostly check for accommodation on this website.

I stayed at the Suka Beach Bungalows right at the beachfront. It is very beautiful as you can see the sunset from your room. To stay in those traditional bungalows was an experience I will not forget. Definitely check if this place is available.
