Secret Beaches on Bali´s Bukit Peninsula (South of Bali)

Are you tired of beaches which are full of people? Do you want a beach just for your own? You need a little adventure? Go off the beaten path? Then you need to get on a scooter and check out the following secret beaches on Bali´s south. It’s definitely worth it and will give you another perspective of this beautiful island.

Nunggalan Beach ("Shipwreck Beach")

Nunggalan Beach is also called „Shipwreck Beach„ or „Shippies“. Obviously  this mystery is due to the fact that there is a Shipwreck on the beach. To get there you need to walk down the cliffs. It will take you like 15 min to get to the beach. At the beach you walk right to get to the Shipwrecks. There are two of them. Most of the time you will be the only ones there.

Bring sun screen and something to cover. There is no shade. (Park here)

Karma Beach

Karma Beach is one of my favorites. There is a resort located where you can have something to eat and drink if you want. The Bar has even an elevator to the top. Usually when you have something to drink and ask the waiters, they will let you use the elevator.

Stay for the sunset. It´s breathtaking. (Get here - you need to walk down stairs to the beach)

Green Bowl Beach

This beach becomes more and more popular. The picture tells you why. At least the uncountable steps you need to conquer to get back to your scooter on the top, scares most of the people not to go down. At the beach you will find a cave with a sacrificial altar. It has also some very nice waves to ride. (Get here)

Enjoy
