Go surfing in Gerupuk - Lombok

Gerupuk has two waves for beginners/intermediates. "Don Don" and "Gerupuk inside". To get there, you need to hire a outrigger boat. As you get into the village, you will find a lot of locals who will get you there.

The boat ride is a fun trip although I look stupid in this pic.

Gerupuk inside is a good wave to improve as beginner/intermediate surfer as the wave is very forgiving. The bottom is a soft reef and causes not much damage if you should fall and hit the reef.
