Before you go traveling

...you should prepare yourself and get information about the following topics.

• Do you need a visa for the country? Do you need to apply for it? Or do you get it on arrival? If you have to pay for it, what currency do they accept?
• Are there any requirements for vaccinations?
• What is the health and safety situation in the country (e.g. malaria)? Are there areas where tourists should not travel to? 
• Do you need a travel health insurance?
• What currency do you need and where do you get it? (You might get it at the airport at an ATM, or you might need to get it at a bank before you travel)
• How much does it cost to get money at a local ATM with your credit card? I use a credit card where I get money at ATM´s worldwide without being charged for an ATM fee.
